I head home tomorrow. Fly out of Saigon at 7 am bound for the states. I can't believe how awful I have been at keeping up with this thing. My apologies. I guess that just means I have to tell stories in person...
I have finished my project for the Center. Hallelujah! It is now being passed around to "experts" who will give it the once over and let me know if I made any major mistakes. I really really hope not, as that goes without saying.
I honestly can't believe I am leaving tomorrow. I do feel like I have been here for a long time... it's amazing how much you can learn and how much you can never learn in such a short time. I will miss quite a few things about this place, namely the people and the street food, which I never did write about.... but I also feel like I could come back and spend a lot more time in the community where I have been living. They are incredible people and there is so much more to know and see and learn.
But for now, it's time to go home. I am ready and excited. After a few days of vacation with my man in Colorado I'll return to LR where I then have to start getting ready to start class at UAMS...
So, I'll just go ahead and say this is most likely the end of this blog. It has been a blast, though not very fruitful. I appreciate anyone who took the time to read it... hunt me down for all the real stories...

I appreciated it. Your pictures were pretty awesome. I'm just assuming you never made it to the finest tavern under the sun (Guns and Roses Bar).
Oh well. Good for you, Em. And congrats.
